easily escaped with speed

Blue and shimmering
sun glances off the surface
lights on pool water.
Heat is persistent.
Sunset lights the evening
night makes its return.

Again, these are by Beast, my friend who does not yet have a DA. I think they're fantastic and deliver beautiful imagery, but that's just me. So please comment. He'd love to hear what you have to say. ^u^

Your beastly friend is very good at poetry 
These provide very vivid pictures with what few syllables haiku's provide. (Though the nit-picker that I am possibly noticed that the second line in the last haiku may be short one syllable But I suppose that depends on how you pronounce 'evening'... I say 'eve-ning' but others could say 'ev-en-ing' 
So I'll let it slide
